Activabone Bone Graft in Bioteck Malleable Paste

Characteristics:
Bone powder and corticocancellous granules of equine origin enzymatically deantigenated to preserved collagen in combination with a low molecular weight carrier (Exur ®), vitamin C and DBM (Demineralized Bone Matrix).

How to use:
1. Open the syringe
2. Before extruding the product it is recommended to suck in a small amount of air by pulling the plunger back slightly
3. Extrude the content directly onto the defect
4. Shape the graft with a sterile spatula
5. Protect the grafted site with a suitable protective membrane

General considerations for use and precautions:
Place the paste in the grafting site so that it is stable, but avoid over-compressing it. Bone pastes are a valid alternative to traditional bone grafts. Activabone ® bone pastes are characterized by an extraordinary balance between rheological and biological properties.
Indications of use:
It is indicated for the majority of reconstructions, in containing cavities, or in any case where it can be stabilized with membranes or other, so that it cannot disperse.
Their remodeling time (complete replacement with newly formed bone tissue) is shorter than the standard time of 4-6 months.
