Bone Granules in Biogen Bottle

Characteristics:
Bone grafts in granules of natural equine bone, deantigenated by enzymatic route, cortical and/or spongious, with different particle sizes.

How to use:
1. Open the bottle
2. Pour the contents of the bottle into a small sterile container
3. Hydrate with sterile saline for 1-2 minutes until the granules remain "glued" to the sterile spatula
4. Proceed to deposition in the grafting site
5. Protect the grafted site with a suitable protective membrane

General considerations for use and precautions :
Place the pellets at the graft site so that they are stable, but avoid over-packing them. Excessive compression can decrease the space between granules and hinder angiogenesis.
In the event that correct angiogenesis does not take place, upon reopening, the graft would not be reabsorbed (white graft).

Indications of use:
They are indicated for the majority of reconstructions, in containment cavities, or in any case where they can be stabilized with membranes or other so that they cannot disperse.
Their remodeling time (complete replacement with newly formed bone tissue) is 4-6 months.

- Maxillary sinus lift with traditional approach - 1/2mm grain size
- Maxillary sinus lift with crestal approach - standard grain size
- Atrophic crest augmentation positioned below titanium grids
