Ozosan Gel Ozone Syringe Bioactiva
Characteristics
Healing effect by secondary intention of infectious inflammatory muco-osteonecrosis conditions of any nature of the oral cavity.
How to use
1. take the single syringe from the refrigerator;
2. prepare the syringe by extracting it from the protective wrapping;
3. remove the luer lock cap and insert (optional) the supplied needle;
4. extract the product from the syringe onto a sterile slide, and/or directly in situ;
5. apply the gel in the quantity and dose (assessed at the discretion of the doctor) for the type of wound;
6. after using the product, proceed as follows: remove the needle, close the syringe with the luer lock cap, reposition the syringe in the wrapping, deposit in
refrigerator;
7. upon completion of the activity, if there is no longer any gel in the syringe, dispose of it as biologically contaminated hospital waste.
General considerations for use and precautions
1) condition of preparation
The oily base, after having undergone the ozone saturation treatment and then gelled, is cooled to a temperature such as to lead it to generate a voltage
surface that can imprison the ozone molecules, preventing their migration towards the leaf of the oily surface, thus determining their dispersion.
The constriction effectiveness of the ozone molecules in the gel identifies its validity from the first moments in which the oil tends to take on a viscous consistency even
if in this condition the same would be dispersed if it were not continuously insufflated throughout the preparation time. Then having to define, for obvious technical conservation reasons, the production operating limits, the temperature of "below 6°C" is identified and fixed as the temperature suitable for guaranteeing the maintenance of the surface cohesive force of the compound so as to maximize its ability to retain molecules
of ozone.
2) application condition
The application of the gel in a buttery state on the patient's wound inevitably creates a "plug" effect which allows the doctor to visually assess the successful and correct application of the gel covering the entire wound.
The barrier action in this phase, although started, has not reached its intended use as it still retains the ozone molecules. With the increase of
temperature of the gel, due to the body temperature, the holding capacity of the ozone molecules vanishes, thus generating their rapid dispersion in the air.
It should be emphasized that the release of ozone takes place only and exclusively towards the surface exposed to the air.
This happens because the intimate contact, without solution of continuity between the oily bead of the gel and the surface of the mucosa, does not allow any entrance door towards
the mucosa itself and therefore towards the organism. The road that is so favorable to the migration of ozone is towards the part exposed to the air.
3) condition of barrier effect
Having reached its definitive state of intended use of the device, i.e. gel with an oily barrier intimately linked to the surface of the wound and free of ozone, it was
generated a "wet" surface with molecules of fatty acids that perform a highly hydrophobic function towards the external environment thus generating a film that
physically prevents contact between the mucosa and the potentially contaminated external environment. It should also be considered that the fatty acids, not finding splitting elements
in the part towards the wound, they do not allow any type of assimilation by the body. Once this condition has been reached, the patient's body is then allowed to
implement all the normal reparative mechanisms suitable for the restitutio ad integr um of the tissues without, finally, foreign harmful elements being able to interfere in the process of
scarring.
Directions for use
Periodontology
A. Acute gingivitis : cleaning with scaling of the gingival recesses, then sprinkling with OZOSAN – Gel for the dental line of all the gingival rims and waiting 8/10 minutes before rinsing.
If necessary, repeat the application after 3-4 days.
B. Serum purulent acute gingivitis : cleaning with scaler. Impression of the dental fissures with silicone paste covering the gingival margin, brushing of the impression with OZOSAN
Gel for dental line. Repositioning of the cast brushed with OZOSAN – Gel for dental line in the oral cavity. Wait for 10 minutes, then remove impression and rinse. Repeat the operation every 3-4 days for 3/4 times, until healing.
C. Gingival Pockets :
1. single: infiltration of OZOSAN – Gel for dental line with a blunt tip syringe into the lesion, after it has been carefully cleaned. Wait for 5/6 minutes and rinse. Repeat the operation every 3-4 days for 4-6 times.
2. multiple: detar trasi, impression of the dental fissures with silicone paste that covers the gingival margin. Brushing of the impression with OZOSAN – Gel for dental line,
infiltration of the lesions with OZOSAN – Gel for dental line with syringe with blunt tip needle. Repositioning of the cast brushed with OZOSAN – Gel for dental line in the oral cavity. Wait for 10 minutes first. Impression removal and rinsing. Repeat the operation every 3-4 days for 4/5 times until healing.

E. Periodontal disease : scaling.
Gingival stimulation with a subsonic appliance or milling of the margins with a periodontal bur for 3 or 4 sessions. Impression of the dental fissures with silicone paste covering the gingival margin.
Brushing of the impression with OZOSAN – Gel for dental line. Repositioning of the cast brushed with OZOSAN – Gel for dental line in the oral cavity. Wait for 10 minutes. Impression removal and rinsing.
Repeat the operation every 3-4 days.
F. Periodontal surgery : after the surgery, before suturing, infiltrate the wound with a blunt tip syringe OZOSAN – Gel for dental line, then suture. After the suture, infiltrate again OZOSAN – Gel for dental line on the margins of the wound and on the stitches, cover with a surgical compress. Remove after 7 days.
G. Precontact periodontal disease : In case of mobility of one or more teeth, due to precontact with the diators, it is necessary to:
1) eliminate the pre-contact by means of selective grinding, with meticulousness and fussiness. To this end, a semiotic manoeuvre, as old as our profession, allows us to evaluate its extent. To this end, it is necessary to place the tip of one or more fingers on the buccal face of the mobile teeth, gently press towards the oral cavity and, at the same time, have the patient close the dental fissures. Thus there is a clear and clear tactile perception of the displacement of the tooth and, with a little sensitivity, it is finally possible to evaluate its extent.
This manoeuvre, repeated during the correction of the malocclusion, finally makes it possible to detect the elimination of the pre-contact.
2) Depending on the entity of the tissue retraction, the degree of mobility of the tooth and the number of dental elements in pre-contact, solidify the teeth involved with the contiguous elements by means of splitting.
3) Set up a periodontal surgical treatment, with careful cleaning of the fissures and grafting of heterologous material: hydroxyapatite or collagen or both.
4) Disinfect the operating field with OZOSAN – Gel for dental line before, during and after the grafting of heterologous material.
5) Place a compress on the wound of OZOSAN – Gel for dental line after placing the sutures and wait for 10 minutes before rinsing.
6) Apply a compress on the wound or infiltrate it with OZOSAN – Gel for dental line every 48 hours (waiting 10 minutes before rinsing) at least 5 times and, in any case, twice after trimming.
